A change in Diet can Change Everything!!

The last few months I have done an overhaul of my diet. I have always had stomach issues and have constantly been in pain 😦 I would eat foods and then feel sick after or I would randomly just get a really bad stomach ache.
It took years before I was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Lactose Intolerance. This meant that I had to be more careful about what I ate and had to start taking a probiotic to help my stomach.
Whilst on the tablets I was able to settle my stomach and was able to eat most things without having an upset stomach and thought I was doing pretty good!!
It has only been recently since I have realized this, but I have not actually taken any of my probiotic tablets for about 2 months now and my stomach has been rather good.
I put this down to the changes in my diet and my exercise routine.
Let me start with the exercise, I have been doing boot camp twice a week for the last 6 weeks and have started soccer training the last 2 weeks so now that is 4 times a week that I will exercise plus any little workouts I do at home.
Now the diet, I have stopped having toast for breakfast and changed to rice crackers with cheese and turkey and a strawberry smoothy, for lunch I am having chicken with couscous salad and for dinner either steak or something like that. I have cut out most sweets and am drinking more water.
All this I believe has equaled to my stomach settling down and being less painful for me. I have found that I have more energy and are happier with myself and my body. Even when I wasn’t exercising too much I still noticed a difference in my body.
I believe I have found a lifestyle that suits me and I hope I will be able to maintain this fitter healthier me!

Grand Final

Well today is game day!! Hawthorn vs Sydney……
But to be honest I don’t care!! I don’t really like football and if it was up to me I wouldn’t even watch the game!
But the boyfriend invited me to his dads place to have a BBQ and being with him will make watching the game enjoyable.
But I think I should pay a little bit of attention to the game and learn some of the rules since the bf does play football and I’m gunna be watching him next year so knowing the rules would help!!

Life and its ups and downs

Life is not perfect, things go wrong and things go right…. you cant expect someone to have a totally positive outlook on life… you can expect them to be happy when things are good and sad when things are bad…. they should not be criticized for the way they are feeling….. half the time you would not even know what is going on in there life and you just assume that they are negative for no reason… so stop complaining about someone else’s life and get on with your own…..
